Supporting Keresley Community Library: A Growing Local Effort

At Beechwood Trees and Landscapes Ltd, supporting the community isn’t just something we believe in; it’s something we act on. That’s why we’re proud to be supporting Keresley Community Library, a space that has been transformed and sustained entirely through the dedication of local volunteers.

A Community Space with Roots

Since taking over the running of the library, the volunteer team has made impressive progress, especially in the garden. They’ve built compost bins, planted seasonal produce and herbs, and are creating a welcoming green space for local residents to enjoy and learn from.

This is the kind of hands-on, people-led initiative we truly admire. Supporting green spaces, education and engagement is something our Managing Director is personally passionate about, and he recently visited the site to meet the team and see the transformation for himself.

How We’re Getting Involved

To support the next stage of their garden project, we’ll be supplying timber or woodchip to help enhance the space — whether for pathways, composting, or planting beds.

It’s a small gesture that we hope will help this team continue their amazing work. These projects often rely on practical donations and goodwill, and we’re glad to be a part of it.

How You Can Help

Keresley Community Library runs entirely on the time, tools, and talents of volunteers — and they could always use more help.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Volunteer your time – helping in the garden, supporting events, or keeping the library running

  • Donate materials – gardening tools, surplus woodchip, seeds, or other useful supplies

  • Spread the word – every bit of awareness helps build momentum
