Behind the Scenes with Team 5

Safety-First Tree Work in Coventry

This week, Team 5, led by Josh Brewer, were on-site in Coventry carrying out essential tree work for Citizen Housing a great example of the kind of behind-the-scenes projects our teams handle daily to keep communities safe and outdoor spaces well managed.

🔧 The Job Brief

The works included the removal of one tree down to fence height, allowing for a planned replacement of fencing in the coming weeks. On another tree, our team carried out a 4-metre crown lift and a 2-metre reduction, both completed carefully to maintain tree health while improving safety and clearance around the property.

This type of work may sound straightforward, but it takes skill, experience, and clear communication, particularly when working around homes and shared spaces.

🌿 Safety Comes First

All works were carried out for health and safety reasons, helping to manage risk in a residential setting. Whether it’s overhanging branches, obstructed footpaths, or compromised trees, our teams are trained to assess and respond with the right solution.

A Clean Finish

Once the pruning and removal were complete, Team 5 made full use of the on-site chipper to process branches quickly and safely. The site was left clean, tidy and ready for the next stage of fencing work – no mess, no fuss.

Quietly Getting the Job Done

Jobs like this don’t always make the headlines, but they’re a great example of the care and consistency our crews bring to every site. Whether it’s a full-scale removal or just keeping things safe and managed, we’re proud of the work our teams do every day.
