Tree work at Dartmouth Park
Release date: 14th February 2011
On behalf of the council we have been chosen to undertake the tree work at Dartmouth Park.
Dartmouth Park is very close to West Bromwich town centre and is open during daylight hours for everyone and anyone to use. Here you'll find details about the project which aims to restore the park to its former glory.
The Heritage Lottery Fund in association with BIG Lottery under the Parks For People Programme has awarded £4.4 million of a £6.3 million restoration project. Restoration work started on site in October 2009 with contracts for the restoration of the War Memorial and the Herbert Street entrance.
Our work involves remedial crown work, removal of trees to fit in with the proposed landscape layout and stump grinding. We will be working closely with the Landscape team during the project to ensure works run smoothly.
